Your responsibilities include, but not limited to -

DevOps Engineer

  • Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support the deployment of updates, integrations, and infrastructure changes for applications like D365 F&SCM, IoT, Web Services, …
  • Automate software releases and configuration updates, ensuring consistent deployment processes across all environments
  • Leverage Infrastructure as Code tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources
  • Maintain and optimize infrastructure resources on Microsoft Azure to ensure cost efficiency and scalability
  • Implement and maintain system monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights) to track the performance, availability, and reliability of our various applications
  • Work closely with development, QA, and other IT teams to streamline the deployment of code, customizations, and integrations for our applications
  • Collaborate on infrastructure and application architecture design, ensuring that the system is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance
  • Investigate root causes of deployment issues and implement corrective as well as preventative measures

D365 F&SCM System Administration

  • Manage and monitor performance, health and security ensuring high availability and responsiveness
  • Configure and maintain user roles, permissions, and security measures in compliance with organizational policies
  • Use Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure monitoring, and D365 F&SCM tools to track system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Monitor and manage scheduled batch jobs within D365 F&SCM, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of any failures
  • Optimize batch job performance by troubleshooting long running or failed jobs and collaborating with relevant teams to streamline processes
  • Execute system updates and patches in coordination with IT business consultants, developers and business teams
  • Technical setup of third-party integrations

Minimum Qualification

  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira, and automation tools like Terraform or ARM templates
  • Proficiency in Azure cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for system automation and deployment
  • In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and SQL tracing for diagnosing system issues
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management system administration
  • Familiarity with Lifecycle Services (LCS) and other D365-specific monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Expertise in optimizing system performance and resolving issues, e.g. related to D365 F&O batch job failures or system bottlenecks
  • Experience managing D365 F&O security roles and user access management
  • Sound problem-solving and analytical skills
  • A commitment to continuous learning, staying abreast of new technologies and trends
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Independent working style
  • Team player

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
  • Related certifications about D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, DevOps, and Microsoft Azure
