Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for an Accounting Intern at Global Gateway Movers & Forwarders Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya. The Accounting Intern will be responsible for tasks related to financial statements, accounting software, finance, analytical skills, and journal entries. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our finance team by managing historical accounting data entry using Financio. This role involves backdating and entering financial data for the previous year, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining organized records for review and audits. The internship offers hands-on experience with Financio software, financial reconciliation, and an in-depth look at general accounting procedures.

Internship Period: December 2024 - Feb/March/April 2025

Qualifications

  • Financial Statements and Journal Entries (Accounting) skills
  • Experience with Accounting Software and Finance
  • Analytical Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
