Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Finance Manager to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in our financial planning, control, and strategy. The Senior Finance Manager will work closely with our existing team, to ensure the financial health and compliance of the company while supporting our rapid growth and expansion.
Salary: RM4000 - RM7000
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Prepare and manage monthly revenue forecasts, budgets, and detailed business plans with management teams.
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial performance and prepare detailed reports for senior management and investors.
- Lead the development of monthly and quarterly financial presentations to management and business leadership.
- Provide timely and accurate analysis of financial performance, trends, and forecasts to assist the Board, CEO, and HODs in decision-making.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and conduct risk analysis for potential investments.
- Provide strategic input on key financial decisions, including evaluation of investment opportunities, financial contracts, and fundraising.
Financial Control and Reporting:
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, bookkeeping, tax, audit, and financial reporting.
- Implement robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
Process Improvement:
- Introduce and refine financial processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement new financial systems and tools as needed.
- Manage the accounting system (Xero) to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
Team Management and Development:
- Mentor and support the existing team in their professional growth and daily tasks.
- Lead a team to ensure the organization’s accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, and according to relevant regulations and standards.
Investor Relations and Fundraising:
- Liaise with existing and potential investors, providing them with accurate and timely financial information.
- Support fundraising activities, including preparing financial documentation and presentations.
Cross-border Operations:
- Manage financial operations in multiple countries, including cross-border transactions and transfer pricing.
- Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and practices.
C-level Support:
- Provide financial insights and support to C-level management for strategic decision-making.
- Act as a key business advisor on financial matters, ensuring sound financial practices are integrated into all business decisions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Stakeholder Liaison:
- Liaise with bankers, tax agents, auditors, company secretaries, IRB, and other related statutory bodies.
Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a high-growth startup or tech company.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, particularly Xero.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in fundraising or investor relations is a plus.
- Ability to manage multi-country financial operations, including cross-border transactions and transfer pricing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
