Summary of Key Responsibilities

    -Reconciles the department's accounting activities to ensure accuracy and completeness. -Prepares and reviews financial reports and accounting statement reports so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. These reports may include profit and loss statement, balance sheets and bank reconciliation. -Follows up on provisions, accrual, stocks, utilities, rental and marketing reconciling, correction and adjustments to assigned accounts under review, ensuring that the necessary actions are taken to clear such items timely. -Reviews cash position and compile, verify and analyze cash flow information to prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly cash status reports. -Provides technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or store managers to help them understand financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities. -Identifies and communicates risk areas and emerging trends with business unit and department management. Develops responses and takes appropriate action. -Participates in the implementation of accounting systems, including system requirements, testing and training. Identifies and implements process or procedural modifications indicated by system requirements. -Liaises with external and internal auditors, tax agents, banks and government agencies. -Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve partner, business and customer results.

Summary of Experience

    -Accounting degree with minimum of 3 years' in managerial role. -Sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant regulatory requirement. Experience in handling full set of accounts, budgeting and forecasting. -Intermediate or advance computer literacy. -Working knowledge of financial analysis and management.

    -Possess organizational savvy with the ability to analyze problems and provide timely and innovative solutions. -Ability to balance multiple priorities and to meet deadlines. Occasionally able to work variable hours, when required. -Consistently exceeds goals and dedicated to leading a team to drive business results. -Communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
