Junior Website Developer & Static Artwork Designer

Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and skilled Website Developer & Static Artwork Designer to build and maintain our website(s) while also creating engaging visual assets. This hybrid role combines technical website development with the artistic design of static graphics for web and digital platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in both front-end development and graphic design, with a passion for creating visually appealing, user-friendly digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites that provide a seamless user experience across devices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code for both front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Collaborate with team members to implement website features and optimize UI/UX based on project requirements.
• Test website functionality across multiple browsers and troubleshoot issues to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and security to improve user experience.
• Static Artwork Design: Create visually compelling, brand-consistent static artwork for websites, marketing materials, and social media.
• Design digital assets such as banners, infographics, web ads, and social media graphics.
• Work closely with the marketing and content teams to develop visuals that align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
• Apply best practices in layout, typography, color, and image composition to all digital assets.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends to bring fresh, modern ideas to our visual content.
• Collaboration and Project Management:
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive web and digital experiences.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality digital assets.
• Actively participate in design and development reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
• Familiarity with back-end development (e.g., PHP, Node.js) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
• Strong experience with graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, web standards, and UX/UI principles.
• Strong creative and artistic skills, with an eye for visual detail and a good sense of composition.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with motion graphics or simple animations for web and digital ads.
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and how they relate to web design and development.
• Familiarity with design tools for UI/UX (e.g., Figma, Sketch) for prototyping.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
