Job description

  • Implements and oversee quality control tests of raw material, intermediate products and finished products. Capable to rejects any products/material which are deemed as not as food grade / defect / contaminated physically chemically or biologically.
  • Take the lead in setting-up the food safety standard HACCP and Halal Quality Assurance systems
  • To do process flow charts and identify critical control points to prevent hazards
  • Develops new and improved methods and systems for food processing, production quality control packaging and distribution.
  • Develops food standards, safety and sanitary regulations and waste management and water supply specifications.
  • To implement hygiene and sanitation programmed in the factory.
  • Plans, coordinates and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
  • Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with Head Chef to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
  • Engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities and products
  • Devises sampling procedures and design and develops forms and instruction for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Plans, promotes and organizes training activities related to Food Handling, product quality and reliability.
  • Handle and monitor pest control activities.
  • May investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional in Food Technology / Food Science or equivalent.
  • MUST have certificate of Halal Executive.
  • Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • At least_ 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for these positions._
  • Hands-on experience in setting-up food safety standards i.e HACCP / HALAL is a MUST.
  • Past interaction with authorities such as Ministry of Health, Jakim and external auditing firms are essential
  • Required skill(s): MS Office, Analysis.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Food Technology / Quality Assurance or equivalent.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
