Duties and Responsibility

  • Ensure all food preparations are carried out according to standard recipes and operating procedures.
  • Ensure food consistency is well maintained at all times, conduct checks for quality and presentation of food as according to the standard presentation.
  • Assist in monitoring stock movement and balance to maintain adequacy supplies for daily production.
  • Ensure minimal kitchen wastage.
  • Report any equipment malfunction and problem to Sous Chef / Head Chef.
  • Ensure the kitchen is in line with the food hygiene and safety practice.
  • Ensure mise en place and ingredient is well prepared at all time.
  • Perform ad hoc duties that are assigned by Sous Chef / Head Chef.

Position Requirements

1. Qualifications: Diploma in Culinary Art

2. Experience: Preferable candidate with experience in similar role

3. Skills / Competencies:

  • Have a passion for cooking.
  • Pleasant personality, good work attitude, responsible, friendly and active personnel.
  • Fast learner.
  • Adapt to the needs of business.
  • Willing to work on shift, weekend and public holidays.
  • Good communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Rotational shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
  • Performance bonus
