Position : Voice & Imaging Support Engineer

Salary : RM 8,000 - RM 12,000 per month

Responsibilities:

  • ·Provide proactive, timely, effective, and efficient support within the Bank System support team.
  • Offer Level 2 support for user queries, production issues, and incidents, including event, incident, and problem management.
  • Investigate and address production issues in line with severity SLAs.
  • Log incident tickets for production issues and user queries, and ensure timely response.
  • ·Follow up on defect resolutions and meet incident closure KPIs.
  • Ensure system availability in accordance with agreed SLAs.
  • Verify the successful completion of daily end-of-day execution for supported applications.
  • Perform annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises for supported applications.
  • Support System Engineers during server-level patches and upgrades as needed.
  • Maintain proper documentation for each production release, including incident and task logs.
  • Resolve production incidents under strict time constraints, leveraging tools such as Java snippets, Unix shell scripts, or DB scripts.
  • Identify potential risks in the production environment and proactively flag them to the development team or users.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on application support experience in the banking industry.
  • Independent, proactive, and self-starting with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • ·Availability and willingness to work on a 24x7 on-call support roster.
  • Familiarity or experience with technical platforms and programming languages such as SQL, MS Windows, Unix/Linux, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Java, Control-M, and scripting.
  • Knowledge of Avaya Unified Communication systems application support is a plus.
  • Understanding of ITIL 4 methodology.
