MANAGER/ASSISTANT MANAGER - FINANCE, RECORD TO REPORT (RTR)

Job Description

OVERVIEW

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly account and management reports by the reporting deadlines.
• To assist in the daily operation of accounts department.
• Ensure accuracy & timeliness of monthly management accounts.
• Review and verify monthly management accounts and reports prepared by accounts personnel.
• Monitor and supervise a team of accounts staffs to ensure compliance of accounting procedures and proper accounting records are kept.
• Implement, review and upgrade method and system on costing and inventory control.
• Implement affective asset management.
• Assist in reviewing, formulating and implementing existing or new standard operation procedures and work instructions to enhance efficiency and internal control.
• Ensure the department's practices comply with the company's policy and procedures and meet relevant regulatory requirements.
• Training of accounts staffs so as to increase their job knowledge, effectiveness and efficiency.
• Liaison with tax agents, auditors and bankers.
• Assist in ERP system implementation and process improvement for accounts department.
Any other duties or tasks as assigned by superior.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (e, g ACCA / CIMA / MACPA).
• Minimum 8 years relevant working experience.
• Preferably with working experience in costing background in manufacturing.
ERP knowledge and experience will be added advantage.

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

• Proficient in the requirement of FRS.
Companies ACT and Income Tax Act.
