Manager, Hospitality Training
Report To
Head of Training, MAB Academy
Position Summary
To design/propose/conduct and coordinate training classes of various modules for Cabin Crew and external companies. This will support the learning and development of respective work area(s) as required by their business units in accordance with the standard requirements
Key Accountability
Leadership and Operational management
- Oversees all activities of the department and identifies the business’s developmental needs ensuring that there is consistency with core competencies and goals.
- Plans, organizes, and leads training programs, ensuring proper execution at all levels of the department.
- Ensures consistency in the delivery and application of training standards across the business and oversees the planning, prioritization, and development of new training programs and initiatives, ensuring that these programs and initiatives are consistent with the business’s overall strategies, objectives, and needs.
- To assist the Head of Training & COO in approving and developing effective training programs and materials, making regular modifications to programs where necessary.
- Develop strategic planning and ensure growth of services.
- Ensure delivery of excellent training, consultation
- Steering the activities of the Training Center and ensuring the efficient utilization of all training recourses.
Project Planning and Management
- Ensure that trainings are delivered dynamically, effectively and are meeting the needs of the training audience.
- Identify project timelines, within the deadlines, ensuring that MABA projects and trainings are of the highest
- Oversee the delivery of training, including registration, resource materials development and site coordination.
- Use evaluations to continuously improve the training offered.
- Ensure that the programs and services offered contribute to the Institute's mission.
- Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the programs and services of the Institute to maintain or improve quality.
- Maintain official records and documents and ensure compliance with authority bodies’ regulations.
Financial planning and management
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices.
External Relations
- Build strong relationships with community groups, organizations, local policymakers, and key stakeholders to work together effectively.
Qualification & Working Experience
- Degree/ Professional qualification or its equivalent from a recognised higher institution with at least five (05) years of related experience; or
- Diploma/ STPM or its equivalent with 10 years of working experience in the
- company; or
- SPM or its equivalent with 12 years of related experience

- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with employees, stakeholders, and customers at all levels of the organization.
- Understands the learning needs and interests of diverse populations.
- Thorough understanding of adult learning theory, learning technologies, and instructional design methodologies, virtual and remote environment
- Ability to understand strategic organizational issues and influence change
- Capable and confident communicator with a strong personal presence.
- Strong leadership qualities: ability to lead with cultural awareness and empathy over a diverse team of learning professionals
- Good interpersonal and mentoring skills
