Working Duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (Renewable based on performance)
Working Mode: Hybrid (2 days' work from office, 3 days’ work from home)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday; Normal Hours
Salary: Basic up to RM5,000 - 12,000 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical coverage
Market Development Representative
Telecallers have to initiate a telephonic connection with existing and potential clients to generate sales. They are ideally excellent at verbal communication and passionate about customer prospecting.
Generates prospective customers through cold calling and qualifies leads. Qualified leads are typically directed to the field and/or inside sales team for close.
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Market Development Representative to generate sales pipelines either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to have interest in subscribing to the solutions or services. A successful telemarketer must be resilient and customer centric. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present possible solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will also be attentive, confident, friendly and concise. The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Cold call people using a given set of profile lists to uncover interest in our solutions.
- Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, use case, etc. and present their benefits.
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
- Show value of the solutions in addressing customer’s needs
- Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
- Outline customer conversation and record useful information
Required Skills
- 1-5 years’ experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
- Excellent communication and objection handling skills
- Proficient in English
- Skilled in building good rapport over the phone.
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to handle customer rejection
- High school diploma; BSc/Ba is a plus
