Veolia South East Asia is looking for an Accounts Executive to join the Bioconversion Team to oversee accounting & financial activities. The ideal candidate will be handle routine accounting and financial operations, maintain precise records and demonstrate good financial skills and knowledge.
Your responsibilities for ecological solutions will involve:-
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including transaction processing and ledger management.
- Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities in Malaysia.
- Handle financial queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing financial reports including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing processes.
- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Analyze financial performance.
- Assist in performing & liaising with corporate submissions as a representative for Malaysia.
- Assist in external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Coordinate corporate secretariat, audit, tax reporting & statutory requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.
- Assist in developing and managing the annual budgeting process including capital expenditure budgets and operational budgets.
- Prepares accounting entries and reconciliations.
The required criteria to fulfill these qualifications are:-
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
- The HQ office is located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, and expect to travel to the site office located in Bestari Jaya, Kuala Selangor whenever required.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
