Job Title: Junior Purchasing Executive

Location: Taman Perling

Reporting To: Assistant Purchasing Manager

Salary: RM2200 - RM2500

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Purchasing Executive to join our team. In this role, you will support the purchasing process, ensuring timely delivery and coordination with various departments. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals with a background in purchasing or supply chain management, especially those familiar with the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive work orders from the Assistant Purchasing Manager and carry out tasks according to requirements.
• Clarify customer inquiries or unclear item descriptions via the Marketing Department.
• Prepare and submit quotation worksheets for approval and make necessary amendments.
• Ensure timely delivery of confirmed orders from suppliers.
• Coordinate with the Operations Department for delivery schedules and provide necessary documentation, such as Picking Lists and Stock Chits.
• Verify and ensure all relevant documents (e.g., Certificates, Delivery Orders) are complete for delivery.
• Submit signed delivery orders to the Accounts Department.
• Manage returns, including submitting Goods Return Notes and collecting Credit Notes.
• Update systems and post documents after order completion.
• Adhere to quality and environmental policies and procedures to maintain data accuracy and support continual improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• Experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the marine industry.
• Knowledge of quality and environmental policies is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant procurement software.
• Experience in companies like Farview Supply, Keisha Supply, Vin Marine, AST Marine, Lee Supplier, or Master Suppliers is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
