Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Operations Executive to manage and oversee the daily operations of our supply chain and mini-market activities. This role is crucial in ensuring timely delivery of ration items—including dry goods, fresh produce, and frozen items—to government tender clients across the Northern region. The ideal candidate will streamline our logistics, improve efficiencies, and take full ownership of operational responsibilities, enabling the management team to focus on strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily operations and logistics, ensuring all ration supplies are packed, arranged, and dispatched according to client requirements.
  • Oversee a fleet of five trucks, managing routes, schedules, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery for government tenders.
  • Understand the nature of our products to ensure proper storage, handling, and transportation, minimizing waste and ensuring quality.
  • Work closely with suppliers and team members to maintain inventory levels, monitor quality, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise in transit or delivery.
  • Support our mini-market operations by managing stock levels, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Take charge of operational planning, implementing strategies for efficiency, and identifying areas for process improvements.

Requirements:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant operational role, preferably in food distribution or F&B sectors.

3. Language Proficiency: Fluent in Tamil & moderate in bahasa and English.

4. Skills:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to operational demands.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and logistics coordination.

5. Physical Requirements: Fit and willing to travel as needed for on-site operational support.

6. Work Ethic: Highly disciplined, loyal, and self-driven, capable of working with minimal supervision and handling multiple tasks.

7. Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership qualities to guide and motivate team members.
