Successful candidates will be expected to convene and teach undergraduate units of study in the School of Design and Arts in academic disciplines related to 3D modelling & animation and motion graphics in Multimedia Design and their research expertise. In addition, the ability to teach a wide range of design subjects including web design, traditional and digital publishing, branding, experiential design, photography and image production will be an added advantage. The successful candidate(s) shall provide leadership in teaching, both traditional and non-traditional research as well as external engagement for Multimedia Design and university as a whole.
Requirements
- PhD in Creative Media Technology; Visual Communication & Media; Multimedia Design or related disciplines.
- Knowledge in 3D modelling, animation, motion graphics is essential.
- Knowledge in web design, traditional and digital publishing, branding, experiential design, photography or image production will be an added advantage.
- Experience in teaching in higher education in a relevant discipline.
