Job Title: Dietitian
Job Summary:
As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional advice and support to clients/patients to promote healthy eating habits and manage dietary-related health conditions. You will develop personalized nutrition plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve overall health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nutritional Assessment:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' dietary needs, including evaluating medical history, lifestyle, and food preferences.
- Analyze and interpret nutritional information to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Diet Planning and Counselling:
- Develop and implement personalized meal plans based on individual health goals, dietary restrictions, and preferences.
- Offer counselling and support to clients on effective dietary changes and sustainable lifestyle modifications.
- Education and Training:
- Educate clients on nutrition principles, healthy eating habits, and food safety.
- Conduct workshops and group sessions on various nutrition topics.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Collaborate with food service teams to ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and quality standards.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust dietary plans as needed to achieve health objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
- Research and Development:
- Stay informed about the latest research in nutrition and dietetics to provide current and effective advice.
- Contribute to the development of new nutrition programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Licensure: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent certification required.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret nutritional data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of dietary guidelines and nutrition standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, such as standing for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
