Overview

The Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE) is opening internship opportunities for those interested in the cybersecurity arena. This is a wonderful opportunity for fellow students to have experience working in a multinational company here in Cyberjaya, Malaysia focussed in building cyber security capacity and capability for the country. You will be exposed to a wide array of cyber security domains, including opportunity to develop your training and presentations skills as well as event management.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing research on the latest cyber security attacks and incident for the purpose of keeping material up to date with latest news.
• Assist in maintaining and upgrading the cyber security lab and demo environments.
• Help promote and coordinate events hosted at the CCOE to increase community and student participation in courses and programs..
• Review our social media accounts e.g. LinkedIn and YouTube for latest comments.
• Collaborate with senior team members to assist in areas of training and learning development including potentially opportunity to present at the CCoE.
• Review registration, data and statistics and help generate relevant required reports for stakeholders.
• Welcome and network with participants at the CCoE training events.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Background preferred: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or related technology degrees.
• Candidates must be currently undergoing the degree in the field of studies above, preferably 3rd year student.
• Written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Attention to detail, time management and curious to learn.
• Hands on experience with Open-Source cybersecurity tools (preferred).
