Site Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. To manage, lead and plan for site team and provide necessary assistance in overall site works. 2. To study drawings & execute construction works as per project specifications. 3. To ensure that all works carried out on projects are handled in accordance with the related work instructions and meet project requirements. 4. To provide guidance and work instructions to Supervisor or Sub-Contractor in daily activities. 5. To carry out various inspections and tests at project site from time to time. 6. To coordinate with the purchasing department in acquisition of materials required for project use. 7. To carry out resources planning for the project. 8. Attend Site Meeting . 9. To coordinate with clients/sub-contractors/consultants for project progress. 10. To coordinate any quality issues and problems at the project site, and carry out any rectification works, if any. 11. To perform any other duties set by the company policy, management or his direct superior, which does not included in the above-mentioned descriptions. Job Requirement: • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. • Minimum 3 year experiences in building/infrastructure works. • Minimum 10years & above experiences (for candidates without academic background) • Good understanding of civil related works especially substation design and construction. • Able to produce QAQC Manual for Civil & Structural or Infrastructures works such as method of statement, checklist, etc. • Work station: Site based (Kuching&Samarahan Division)
