Job Summary: As a Production Technician, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, focusing on three key areas: Assembly, Testing, and Packing. Your role involves constructing high-performance server and storage solutions from the ground up, ensuring precise assembly of components, thorough testing, and meticulous packing. You will ensure our products meet company’s rigorous quality standards and are ready for shipment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assembly and Production: o Perform detailed assembly of server components including motherboards, CPUs, memory modules, power supplies, AOMs, riser cards, brackets, chassis, and cabling. o Operate and maintain various tools and machinery, such as soldering equipment and testing devices. o Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure all components adhere to company’s high standards. 2. Testing and Quality Assurance: o Execute functional tests to confirm proper cable connections and detect any issues with server functionality. o Verify that assembled servers operate correctly and comply with quality standards. 3. Packing for Shipment: o Moving the server to the packing stage once it successfully passes testing. o Applying protective materials to the server to prevent damage during transportation, not just placing it in a box. o Preparing the server for shipment to the customer, reflecting the factory’s commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction. 4. Process and Safety Compliance: o Adhere to established procedures and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. o Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or irregularities to supervisors promptly. o Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and production areas. 5. Continuous Improvement: o Stay informed about new manufacturing procedures, technologies, and best practices. o Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share insights for enhancing efficiency and quality. Qualifications: • Diploma or higher; technical certification is an advantage. • Must have over 3 years of working experience, with prior experience in a manufacturing or production role being advantageous. • Proficient in mechanical skills with substantial experience using hand tools and machinery. • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical documents and assembly instructions. • Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high-quality standards. • Competent in utilizing computer systems for data entry and managing documentation efficiently. • Physical capability to lift and move heavy items as required. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching. • Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and other conditions.
