  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary

As a Bim Modeler, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and drawings using software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Revit. Your role will involve collaborating with architects and engineers to produce accurate building information models (BIM) for construction projects.

Duties

  • Develop precise 3D models of buildings and structures using CAD software like Civil 3D and MicroStation
  • Create technical drawings, schematics, and layouts to support construction projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM models meet design specifications
  • Utilise NavisWorks to coordinate and review models for clash detection
  • Assist in the development of building components and systems within BIM software
  • Use Sketchup to generate conceptual designs and visualisations

Experience

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks for building component modelling
  • Experience in creating BIM models for architectural or engineering projects
  • Knowledge of MicroStation for drafting purposes
  • Understanding of construction processes and terminology
