Electrical Engineer
1. Site Supervision:
- Supervise on-site electrical work to ensure IT is carried out according to plans and specifications.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of electrical technicians and subcontractors.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements.
2. Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other site supervisors to plan and execute electrical tasks.
- Review and interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor progress and ensure work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.
3. Quality Control:
- Conduct quality inspections of electrical work to ensure it meets design requirements and industry standards.
- Identify and address any issues or defects in electrical work.
- Ensure work quality adheres to high standards and project specifications.
4. Safety Management:
- Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for electrical tasks.
- Conduct regular safety meetings to discuss safety concerns related to electrical work.
- Address and report any safety hazards or incidents.
5. Resource Management:
- Manage the allocation of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and maintain inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including completed tasks, materials used, and changes to project scope.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to project managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Document and report any issues or delays in electrical work.
7. Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for electrical issues on-site.
- Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve conflicts or issues related to electrical work to ensure smooth project execution.
The Electrical Work Site Supervisor oversees electrical work on-site, ensuring that all electrical tasks are completed according to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. This role involves managing the electrical team, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring the quality and progress of electrical work.
Additional Requirements: Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings, effective communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.
