Testing & Commissioning Manager (DC)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement T&C activities, clearly defining requirements and expectations across the full T&C process for data center.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to establish timelines and resource requirements.
• Lead and manage a team of testing and commissioning engineers and technicians.
• Provide training and support to team members on testing protocols and procedures.
• Oversee testing of all systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire safety, and IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate the commissioning process for all equipment and systems, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Review detailed design documents, basis of design, system operation sequences, and vendor-provided test scripts.
• Develop tailored testing and commissioning (T&C) plans for Integrated Systems Tests (IST) and Heat Load Tests (HLT).
• Conduct functional and performance testing to validate system operations.
• Lead T&C meetings, verifying that Long Lead Equipment (LLE) and local vendor submissions meet project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of testing and commissioning processes, results, and compliance with standards.
• Ensure all testing and commissioning activities comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in testing and commissioning roles, preferably in data centre construction or similar critical infrastructure project
• Have at least three to five years of experience in the data center industry and be familiar with industrial organizations and certification standards, such as TIA-942, Uptime.
• Have technical background in data center solutions and related products, power supply and distribution, UPS, HVAC, fire extinguishing.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, ability to travel internationally and adapt to diverse working environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
