Location: Kempas Baru Responsibilities: - Assist the MR in integrating OSH programs into daily operations. - Support the MR in ensuring that HODs effectively fulfill their roles in implementing the policy with defined objectives and targets. - Provide advice on measures to enhance the occupational health and safety of employees. - Conduct workplace inspections to assess whether any machinery, equipment, substances, or processes could potentially cause bodily harm. - Investigate accidents, near-misses, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisonings, or occupational diseases that occur within the workplace. - Update evacuation maps and collaborate with the ERT team to develop evacuation plans. - Coordinate the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPR) and organize emergency response drills to assess EPR effectiveness. Plan, organize, and lead safety and health committee meetings at least quarterly. - Act as Secretary for SHC meetings. Interview and recruit new drivers, conduct safety training, and administer color vision and urine tests. - Liaise with the Admin/HR Department to verify driver license validity prior to recruitment. - Perform monthly inspections of first aid boxes and fire extinguisher checklists. - Coordinate with suppliers regarding personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment needs. - Liaise with relevant government agencies, such as BOMBA, DOE, and DOSH. - Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements: - Possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent. - Green Book Holder is an advantage. - Fluent in English, excellent oral and written communication skills. - Good team player, independent and self-motivated.
