Immediate Hiring for Halal Officer

Responsibilities

1. Halal Assurance System Documentation

  • Create a Master Document Repository
  • Organize all halal documents

2. Halal Ingredients Master List

  • Updating the Master List
  • Regularly liaise with suppliers to verify and update the status of ingredients.
  • Create a standardized format for suppliers to submit ingredient information.
  • Documentation
  • Ensure all ingredients are accompanied by supporting documentation
  • Maintain an audit trail for all updates to the master list.

3. Halal Applications for Production and Cafés

  • Prepare Submission Packages
  • Gather all necessary supporting documents for halal applications.
  • Create checklists to ensure all required documentation is included before submission.
  • Submission Tracking
  • Maintain a log of all submissions, including dates and responses from the halal authority.

4. Audit Support

  • Pre-Audit Preparation
  • Review documentation and ensure all records are complete and accessible.
  • Conduct internal mock audits to identify any gaps.
  • During the Audit
  • Be available to assist auditors by providing requested documentation and information.
  • Take notes during the audit for follow-up actions.

5. Halal Awareness Training

  • Tracking Completion Rates
  • Create a training log to track staff participation in halal awareness training sessions.
  • Regularly update the log and follow up with staff who have not completed the training.
  • Training Materials
  • Ensure training materials are current and accessible to all staff.
  • Consider periodic refresher training sessions to maintain awareness.

6. Other Duties as Assigned

  • Stay prepared to assist with other related tasks as they arise.
  • Maintain open communication with your superior for any additional responsibilities.

  • Fresh graduate and entry-level is encourage to apply
