PRODUCTION /MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Main Responsibility: -

Monitor production activities and involve in all problem solving, root cause analysis and any technical issue that arise in daily operations. The engineer shall ensure overall productivity and quality is maintained on the production floor.

Job Description: -

· Report to the Senior Process Engineer.

· To recommend methods and countermeasure actions to resolve production issues, while identifying root cause that may related to design, process, material, or workmanship.

· To recommend ways to improve operator efficiency, reducing cycle time and improve quality by reorganization of workflow, relocation of work stations and the proposal of new equipment procurement.

· To suggest ways of improving current jig & fixture for better workability, an incorporate Poka-Yoke concept.

· To help set up new equipment and testers, and to collect production data to ensure the new equipment is performing within specification limits.

· To lead and supervise a team of technicians to maintain overall production floor.

· To train supervisor and operators on the new and improved methodology.

· To arrange for new ICT fixture fabrication, debugging and implementation.

· Monitor calibration master list for equipment’s & measurements tool, internal calibration for callipers, weighing scale or weight.

Minimum Requirement(s): -

· Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electronic Engineering or related engineering degree required.

· At least 2 years’ experience in related field.

· Familiar with common manufacturing processes; SMT, wave soldering, mechanical assembly, functional testing, etc.

· Innovative, self-motivated and have a good analytical mind.

· Support all other activities as assigned by Group Production Engineering Manager.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
