  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

This enables them to maintain tight control over costs, timelines, and quality, delivering exceptional results.

The Head of Design Department will lead the design department, overseeing the creative process from brief to execution. You will collaborate closely with the project and commercial departments, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality designs that meet client expectations. In addition to conceptual design and presentations, you will be hands-on with drawings, particularly during peak periods, to meet deadlines.

Position : Head of Design Department
Location: Bandar Kinrara, Puchong

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design department, providing direction and mentorship to the design team.
  • Collaborate with the project and commercial departments to ensure alignment on design concepts, project requirements, and client expectations.
  • Receive design briefs and create innovative and market-relevant concept designs.
  • Oversee the design development process, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept through to execution.
  • Produce drawings and assist the team during peak periods to ensure timely submissions.
  • Maintain a commitment to high-quality, creative solutions that reflect client objectives.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications.
  • Proven leadership skills to guide and mentor the design team effectively.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working closely with project and commercial teams to ensure design objectives are met.
  • Excellent conceptual design and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the full design development process from ideation to execution.
  • Strong understanding of commercial space design and fit-out projects.
  • Strong communications and presentation skills in English. Spoken Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Remuneration Package:

  • Basic Salary: RM7,500
  • Commissions: Up to RM18,000 per year

  • Allowances: RM500 for phone and petrol
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday (flexibility to work from home during weekends if deadlines required).

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
