Assistant Marine Consultant

Job Overview: The Assistant Marine Consultant will play a key role in providing support to the Consultancy Department, assisting in conducting Marine Risk Assessments, Full Mission Ship Simulations, and Simulation Ship Modeling. This role involves working closely with senior consultants, providing analytical and operational assistance to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions for maritime projects. 1. Marine Risk Assessment: Assist in conducting marine risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and assessing associated risks. Collect and analyze relevant data, including environmental, navigational, and operational factors. Prepare and review reports, ensuring they are comprehensive and meet client requirements. 2. Full Mission Ship Simulation: Participate in full mission ship simulations to assess navigational risks, maneuverability, and operational feasibility. Work with senior consultants to prepare simulation scenarios, utilizing cutting-edge simulation tools. Support clients and stakeholders during simulation exercises, ensuring operational accuracy and safety. 3. Simulation Ship Modeling: Assist in the development and refinement of ship simulation models, ensuring they reflect real-world dynamics and vessel behavior. Collaborate with technical teams to validate model accuracy and performance. Conduct testing and validation of simulation models to enhance reliability and accuracy in different scenarios. 4. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, process, and analyze data from simulation exercises and risk assessments. Prepare clear, structured reports and presentations based on findings to support client decisions. Document all aspects of projects to ensure comprehensive records for future reference and audits. 5. Client Interaction & Support: Support client interactions, including presentations, briefings, and feedback sessions. Provide technical assistance to clients, ensuring their needs are met through quality consultancy services. Work with the team to continuously improve client satisfaction and service quality. 6. Research & Development: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, simulation technologies, and risk assessment methodologies. Proactively contribute to the development and implementation of new tools, techniques, and methodologies within the department.
