PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHER

The Preschool Teacher Assistant supports the lead teacher in delivering educational programs for young children. This role involves assisting with the creation and implementation of lesson plans, facilitating classroom activities, and actively engaging in teaching. The assistant helps manage the classroom environment, ensuring it is safe and conducive to learning. Additionally, the assistant provides individual attention to students as needed, helps with routine tasks, and communicates progress and concerns to the lead teacher and parents. Strong communication, patience, and a passion for early childhood education are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning and executing educational activities and lesson plans. - Co-teach and facilitate classroom activities and discussions. - Provide individual and group instruction to support children's learning. - Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources. - Supervise children during activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. - Monitor and document children's progress and behavior. - Assist with routine tasks such as snack time, nap time, and bathroom breaks. - Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred. - Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Patience, creativity, and a caring nature. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
