JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Customer Service:

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.

- Provide information about the store’s products and heritage building history when asked.

- Ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.

2. Cash Handling:

- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.

- Process credit/debit card payments and other forms of payment.

- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as required.

3. Sales Support:

- Assist with stocking shelves and arranging product displays.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.

- Report any discrepancies or issues to the Front End Executive promptly.

4. Security and Compliance:

- Follow all store policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.

- Comply with health and safety regulations and store protocols.

- Monitor and prevent theft or damage to merchandise.

5. Tourist Engagement:

- Engage with tourists and provide information about local attractions and the heritage building.

- Promote store events, special offers, and loyalty programs to tourists and customers.

6. Startup Environment:

- Adapt to a fast-paced and evolving startup environment.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and ideas.

- Work collaboratively with the team to support the store’s growth and success.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

- This position requires standing for long periods and occasionally lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds.

- The cashier will work in a heritage building with unique historical features and may interact frequently with tourists.

- Shifts may include weekends and holidays to accommodate the tourist season.

- The startup environment may involve occasional changes in responsibilities and processes as the business evolves.

REQUIRMENT:

-Able to work 13 hours per week (2-3 shift, no break)

- Able to work on weekdays & weekend

LOCATION:

Pasar Besar, Central Market, Kuala Lumpur

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: RM10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week
