KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  Leadership: Supervises, develops and provides guidance to the Core Operations team in the respective campus  Financial: Manages operations to hit performance metrics for the Operations team in the campus  Functional:  Oversees the estate management of the Company & Campuses  Plans and forecasts department budget to maximize resource utilization  Monitors the maintenance of the campus facilities to ensure that expenses remain within assigned budgets  Appoints and hires subcontractors and vendors for housekeeping, waste disposal, pest control, landscaping, and canteen operations  Maintains working relationships with these vendors  Monitors the quality of the vendors and collates feedback from the faculty and students, if any  Supervises the Campus’s support officers, cleaners, and security personnel  Obtains building permits and certifications, liaises with government bodies, and schedules inspections, if required  Supervises the checks on the facilities in the Company & Campuses to ensure all facilities, such as electricity and power, are in good working condition  Documents and tracks complaints by faculty and students relating to facilities and develops preventive measures for future  Supports the Associate Director of Business Operations in developing security and safety procedures for the campus  Reviews and maintains the security and safety procedures, including the conduct of emergency exercises  Interaction:  Actively involved in campuses events and supports the other departments in preparing for the events, such as moving furniture, purchasing props and costumes, delivering parcel, etc.  Maintain networks and relationships with internal and external partners at the working level to keep abreast of the current industry climate and macroeconomic trends  People Focus:  Collaborates proactively with Human Resources to continuously increase competency within the operations team to meet future organisations needs through the development and recruitment of talent  Assist the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of employees in the operations team
