Role Overview: As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for schematic design and PCB layout design for new products, including power management, signal processing, and connectivity features. You will also ensure that all designs comply with stringent safety and EMC standards. Key responsibilities: • Designing and developing electrical circuits and PCB layouts design for a range of Yamaha audio products. • Collaborating with a dynamic team of electrical engineers to translate product requirements into functional designs. • Participating in the entire product development lifecycle, including circuit design, PCB layout, prototyping, PCB assembly, and evaluation and verification. • Integrating hardware components with software systems and mechanical structures. • Providing innovative solutions to challenges encountered during product development, such as power and signal integrity issues. • Involvement in thermal design. • Performing Safety/EMC evaluations and troubleshooting. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: • A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field. • Basic electrical knowledge. • Basic skills in operating measuring equipment. • Knowledge of electrical design, components, and evaluation methods. • Problem-solving and analytical skills. • A passion for innovation and hands-on work. • Teamwork and communication skills. • Experience in the following areas is advantageous: o Strong knowledge of digital circuits (MCU, digital audio/video, networks, FPGA, etc.), and analog circuits (audio amplifiers, power supplies, radio frequency, etc.) o Advanced skills in operating measuring equipment. o Proficiency in electrical CAD software (schematic design and PCB layout). o Familiarity with Safety/EMC regulations.
