Job Description • Design, develop, and optimize DSP algorithms for applications in digital communication, signal processing & conditioning, and control systems. • Simulate and verify algorithms performance using tools like MATLAB and Simulink. • Develop test plans and procedures to ensure correct implementation of DSP algorithms. • Analyze and implement DSP algorithms on hardware platforms that include FPGAs, DSP processors and application processors or microcontrollers. • Validate fixed-point implementation of DSP algorithms and optimize them for real-time processing on the relevant hardware platforms mentioned above. • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to incorporate DSP algorithms in intended systems or products. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DSP algorithms throughout the product or system life cycle. • Prepare documents related to DSP algorithms and development processes Qualifications • Master's/bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field with a focus in Digital Signal Processing (DSP). • Deep knowledge in digital communication, control theory, and signal processing fundamentals. Application of this knowledge in aerospace domain is highly desirable. • Experience in DSP algorithm development and analysis involving modulation, filtering, and signal processing. • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm simulation and verification. • Hands-on experience with DSP hardware platforms that include DSP processors, FPGAs, and ADC/DAC. • Strong skills in C/C++ and familiarity with VHDL/Verilog implementation on FPGA. • Ability to collaborate across teams, with good communication and problem-solving skills
