Procurement Manager

As the Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality goods for our sports events. Responsibilities include supplier management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely delivery of inventory.

Goal 1 : Supplier Relationship Management:

• Conduct quarterly supplier evaluations to address feedback and improve collaboration.
• Organize bi-annual supplier meetings to discuss performance metrics and set improvement targets.
• Implement a supplier performance scorecard to track key metrics such as on-time delivery and quality.

Goal 2 : Cost Savings:

• Identify cost-saving opportunities through competitive bidding and negotiation.
• Review existing contracts for renegotiation or consolidation of services.
• Explore alternative sourcing options to reduce procurement expenditures.

Goal 3 : Process Efficiency:

• Analyze current procurement processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Implement an electronic procurement system to streamline purchasing and approvals.
• Provide training to staff on efficient procurement practices and system usage.

Goal 4 : Inventory Management:

• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify slow-moving or excess stock.
• Set optimal inventory levels based on demand forecasts and lead times.
• Implement just-in-time inventory practices to reduce carrying costs and stockouts.

Goal 5 : Strategic Alignment:

• Collaborate with the finance department to align procurement goals with budget constraints.
• Work with the marketing team to source promotional items and merchandise efficiently.
• Engage with operations to ensure procurement decisions support production schedules and requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Working experience in the related field
• Possess own transport and willing to travel
• Passionate, ambitious, confident and aggressive
• Positive attitude
• Willing to learn and able to work under pressure

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
