Job Description:
1. Manage, oversee, and to ensure effective daily operations of the accounting department which shall include but not limit to:
- month end, quarter end and year end accounts reporting
- accounts payable/receivable
- general ledgerpayroll and utilities
- budgeting and forecast monitoring
- reportingcash flow
- ensuring correct stock balance records and monitoring stock levels
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- balance sheet reconciliations
2. Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support company objectives.
3. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
4. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and address any findings.
5. Supervise and mentor finance team.
6. Ensure the team adheres to financial policies and procedures.
7. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
8. Monitor financial transactions and identify and address any discrepancies.
9. Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis.
10. Communicate financial information and performance to internal and external stakeholders.
11. Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, especially in Mandarin.
- 5 years and above of experience in financial & accounting field or a similar role, experience in manufacturing is advantage.
- Proven experience in team management.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software, familiar with SAP / Oracle / ERP systems is advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
