Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of a chargeman as required under the Electrical Act and Regulation (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
- Ensures that installation and maintenance are safe and legal.
- Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical work.
- Ensures the electrical system is operated within the established performance parameters.
- To perform preventive maintenance tasks on all switchboards and circuit breakers.
- To schedule and carry out generator set testing.
- To manage and carry out breakdown repairs for the electrical equipment failure.
- Supervise jobs performed by electrical contractors.
- Supervise electrical contractor work complying with the Electrical Act and Regulation.
- Able to do other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Possess minimum A4 Chargeman Competency Certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
- Knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act and Electricity Regulations is essential.
- Preferably, a candidate knowledgeable in M&E building services.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field, particularly from an electric field background. A fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Computer literacy
- Self-motivated and hardworking.
- Responsible, resourceful, initiating, and performing.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
