Electrical Engineer / Electrician

Areas of Responsibility: 1. Maintenance works – To plan & perform scheduled maintenance, rou ne checks and unscheduled repairs accordingly. Propose ways to reduce equipment down me due to unscheduled breakdowns of electrical components. Assist the Maintenance Lead to isolate equipment before any maintenance works 2. Troubleshoo ng – Diagnose faults and failures in equipment and its electrical components. Propose fixes and solu ons to reduce such occurrences. 3. Improvements – To observe equipment characteris cs & opera onal usage to propose modifica ons / improvement to the equipment sets to improve availability, produc vity and safety. 4. Record keeping – To keep a record of occurrences of electrical breakdowns, faults, part replacements and modifica ons to equipment. Assist Management to track equipment availability and down me. 5. Spare parts - Track electrical spare parts inventory and usage. Assist Management to maintain sufficient spare parts inventory to support equipment availability. 6. Procedures – Assist in crea ng maintenance or opera on. procedures for reference and use by other personnel assis ng in maintenance works. 7. Ad hoc installa on – Carry out simple electrical wiring works within the factory for equipment and domes c purposes.
