Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Admin & Ticketing Coordinator to support our theatre’s operations. This role will handle ticketing processes, customer inquiries, and various administrative tasks to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for theatre and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ticketing and Box Office Management
- Manage ticket sales for performances through the ticketing system.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding ticket availability, pricing, and seating arrangements.
- Process online, phone, and in-person ticket purchases, and troubleshoot any ticketing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of ticket sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to patron questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Assist patrons with special requests, including accessible seating and group bookings.
- Ensure a welcoming and professional experience for all guests visiting the theatre.
- Administrative Support
- Manage and organize records of ticket sales, revenue, and attendance statistics.
- Support the finance team by assisting in ticketing reconciliations and daily cash management.
- Maintain databases of patrons, including contact information and preferences, in accordance with data protection policies.
- Event Coordination
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotions, discounts, and other ticketing campaigns.
- Assist in organizing special events and VIP bookings.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth event operations and provide ticketing information.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Generate reports on ticket sales, attendance, and customer feedback for management review.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize pricing strategies, and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in ticketing, customer service, or theatre administration is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with ticketing software or similar CRM tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
