Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Admin & Ticketing Coordinator to support our theatre’s operations. This role will handle ticketing processes, customer inquiries, and various administrative tasks to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for theatre and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ticketing and Box Office Management
  • Manage ticket sales for performances through the ticketing system.
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding ticket availability, pricing, and seating arrangements.
  • Process online, phone, and in-person ticket purchases, and troubleshoot any ticketing issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of ticket sales, returns, and exchanges.
  • Customer Service
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to patron questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist patrons with special requests, including accessible seating and group bookings.
  • Ensure a welcoming and professional experience for all guests visiting the theatre.
  • Administrative Support
  • Manage and organize records of ticket sales, revenue, and attendance statistics.
  • Support the finance team by assisting in ticketing reconciliations and daily cash management.
  • Maintain databases of patrons, including contact information and preferences, in accordance with data protection policies.
  • Event Coordination
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotions, discounts, and other ticketing campaigns.
  • Assist in organizing special events and VIP bookings.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth event operations and provide ticketing information.
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Generate reports on ticket sales, attendance, and customer feedback for management review.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize pricing strategies, and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in ticketing, customer service, or theatre administration is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ticketing software or similar CRM tools.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
