Distribution Manager (Sarawak)

Responsibilities:

• Achieve gross profit target as set by the Management;
• Manage distributors for products as assigned by Management;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers;
• Constantly update management on all internal and external influences such as company resources, stock holding, legislation, fuel costs and other environmental pressures which may influence the efficiency of company’s product distribution and implement measures on how to take advantage and minimise such influences from negatively effecting on the company’s efficiency and distribution standards;
• Streamline data flow within Accounts, Inventory and Logistic in order to initiate improvement of SCM and minimise SMP;
• Fully responsible for the management of warehousing and logistics teams to for optimisation of stock levels, delivery times and transportation costs;
• Coordination and control of the order cycle. You would also be expected to monitor quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods;
• Prepare and manage budgets;
• To source suppliers and negotiate rates that are favourable and inline with the company’s budget and targets as and when required implement the company’s strategic plan as well as contribute to and be involved in the evaluation and analysis of the business objectives;
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and addressing any distribution-related concerns promptly
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks which may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a distribution management role, within the IT sales industry
• Knowledge in IT products
• Experience in IT industry.
• Strong interpersonal and good communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Budget management skills
• Positive attitude, self-motivated
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
