Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform detailed analysis of operating costs across all processes in the factory and provide recommendations of practical measures to reduce cost.
- Organize and communicate with finance team across relevant processes to conduct forecast, analysis and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, to provide recommendations to optimize business processes.
- Perform relevant standard/actual costing to determine SKU’s pricing.
- Assist in implementing continuous controls and performance metrics to monitor cost management goals.
- Perform cost management activities throughout the Group and provide analysis on cost behavioral pattern of business operation.
- Thoroughly evaluate the processes together with process owners in order to generate cost saving measures and drive improvement in productivity.
- Formulating controls in order to minimize wastages and leakages through comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the processes.
- Review operating expenses critically and provide recommendations to top management based on facts and findings.
- Establish prudent cost KPI for business entity and process owner to adopt and to continuous monitor them.
- Resourceful in looking out for cost saving opportunities based on study conducted and on the cost pattern of each process.
- Lead and assist the migration of costing information to inhouse system for future impact such as government policies, inflation, forex and etc.
Job Requirement:
- Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, MICA, MIA etc.). Candidate with experience in unique manufacturing environments is a plus for this post.
- Minimum 10 years working experience with no less than 5 years in the field of cost management and control.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with people at all levels
- Possess good problem solving, presentation and analytical skills.
- Must be computer literate: A very thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel in analysis and forecasting; and produce professional Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
- Knowledge in ERP is an added advantage.
- Sell-motivated, good leadership skills and be able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadline.
- Strong knowledge of product costing to evaluate and analyze budget of business entity.
- Must be able to work with top management to implement changes needed from recommendations made from the study and evaluation of processes.
