We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and a proven track record in technical leadership. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal machinery performance, driving productivity improvements, and developing the technical capabilities of our production team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintain a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior technical position within CNC machining, demonstrating hands-on expertise with assigned machinery and processes. 2. Certify and verify machine performance, ensuring equipment is maintained in peak condition. 3. Assist in the development of technical skills among production personnel through training and mentorship. 4. Provide consulting on process cycle time, design for manufacturability (DFM), and requirements for tools, jigs, and fixtures for new RFQs, including cost estimations. 5. Identify and address technical challenges in new projects, proposing solutions and controls to meet customer requirements. 6. Actively participate in new projects from product development to qualification phases. 7. Continuously review and enhance processes for improved productivity, quality, and cost savings. 8. Lead the team to achieve quality, production yield, and productivity goals. 9. Provide technical guidance to machinists to enhance their troubleshooting and problem-solving skills regarding quality and machinery issues. 10. Develop solutions to effectively resolve quality issues and customer complaints. 11. Advise on and design tools, jigs, and fixtures to support process improvement initiatives. 12. Support activities related to sample or first article inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards. 13. Involved in project evaluations, focusing on data collection and analysis. Job Requirement: -Professional Certificate/Diploma / Degree in Technical, Engineering (Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering) or other relevant field. -Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior technical position within CNC machining, with a strong background in technical leadership. -In-depth knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and equipment, with hands-on experience in operating and maintaining CNC machinery. -Strong knowledge and work experience with CAD/CAM programming, specifically Master CAM, including proficiency in 3-axis and 5-axis machining. -Proven ability to lead production teams effectively, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and productivity. -Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement effective solutions. -Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines. -Commitment to continuous improvement, with familiarity in Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or other relevant frameworks to enhance process efficiency. -Strong analytical abilities, with experience in data analysis to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
