Production Management: Oversee and manage the entire production process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and company targets. Monitor production output, quality, and efficiency, taking corrective actions when necessary. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the production team, including supervisors, operators, and support staff. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills of production team members. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team productivity. Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to minimize defects and ensure consistency. Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any quality-related issues. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance production efficiency. Utilize lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize resource utilization. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve production processes. Inventory & Resource Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials. Optimize resource allocation to meet production targets while controlling costs. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the production area. Promote a culture of safety among production staff, conducting regular training and audits. Investigate and resolve any safety incidents, implementing preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as output, efficiency, and quality. Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic production plans.
