A Brief Summary of This Position: The Business Analyst in this role is primarily responsible for supporting the planning, testing, implementation, and maintenance of standard identity and access controls. This position showcases a robust comprehension of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and Critical Financial Access (CFA) concepts, actively contributing to efforts aligning internal business application security structures with supported business and IT processes and risk models to administer effective least privilege and SoD controls. Additionally, this role involves continuous improvement and automation of identity and access control software, SoD legacy tool sets, and utilities that support critical financial and core business applications. Essential Functions: · Deploys standard identity, access, and SoD controls across digital business application platforms. · Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including business, compliance, and IT units, to implement and enforce SoD controls throughout the organization. · Actively participates in designing and implementing security structures for SAP S/4HANA and GRC Access Control set up. · Conducts an application business role mapping exercise based on job profiles, presenting possible matches for business user selection. · Documents application security strategy and authorization concepts based on Valmont business environment. · Monitors compliance and completeness of multiple Business Application security reviews. · Develops PowerBI visualizations to aid stakeholders in data interpretation. · Enhances the internal application security portals using PowerApps and SharePoint. · Develops and maintains VBA scripts to automate data transformation processes within Excel workbooks. · Implements data syncing and data comparison scripts, enabling a clear display of the differences between files from different timestamps for further analysis. · Adopts and adapts existing scripts to a different project, comparing and validating the role security differences in the event of any of the business application upgrade project. · Learns independently and assists in analytics and data processing using data analytics tools, such as Alteryx. Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): · Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications in application security or business analysis are advantageous. · Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on SoD in a corporate setting. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, GRC Access Control, PowerApps, SharePoint, and PowerBI. · Technical Skills: Proficient in using data analytics tools such as Alteryx, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA scripting for data transformations. Familiarity with scripting languages for data syncing and comparison purposes. · Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of SoD and CFA concepts. Experience in designing and implementing security structures for SAP systems. · Analytical and Documentation Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct role mapping exercises, document SAP security strategies, and monitor compliance through comprehensive Business Application security reviews. Strong analytical skills for interpreting and presenting data using visualization tools. · Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving issues related to application security and SoD. · Project Management: Basic project management skills to contribute effectively to projects, including adapting existing scripts to different projects and ensuring successful completion within defined timelines.
