Responsibilities Technical Support & Troubleshooting • Provide timely and efficient technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. • Diagnose and resolve problems with computers, printers, servers, and other office technologies. • Manage helpdesk requests and ensure prompt resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime. System Maintenance & Upgrades • Perform regular maintenance and updates of software and hardware systems. • Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, security patches, and software updates. • Monitor system and network performance, optimizing for reliability and efficiency. Network & Security Management • Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the company’s LAN and WAN. • Ensure data security, network access, and backups through monitoring and implementing security measures such as firewalls, antivirus, and encryption. • Monitor for cybersecurity threats and respond with appropriate protective measures. Software & Hardware Management • Install, configure, and manage hardware and software (e.g., desktops, laptops, operating systems). • Ensure compliance with software licensing regulations. • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of IT assets, hardware, and software systems. SAP System Integration & Management • Manage the integration and maintenance of the SAP system, ensuring alignment with business processes and operational goals. • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support SAP module implementation, upgrades, and troubleshooting. • Provide technical support for SAP-related issues, including user account management, customization requests, and system optimization. • Train staff on SAP functionalities and ensure system documentation is up-to-date. Collaboration & Project Support • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT and SAP needs, providing tailored technical solutions. • Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of IT equipment and services, managing relationships and contracts. • Assist in planning, budgeting, and implementing IT-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors. ________________________________________ Requirements • At least a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., SAP) are a plus. • 3-5 years of experience in IT support or system administration, with expertise in hardware, software, and network maintenance. • Hands-on experience with SAP systems, including integration, configuration, and troubleshooting. • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues; experience with network administration (LAN/WAN) and cybersecurity tools. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Flexibility to address technical issues outside regular hours as needed, with a strong organizational focus on asset management.
