Main Accountabilities:
  • Ensures Bulk storage facilities (MST-monomer storage terminal) are operated with highest safety standards. Ensures an effective SHE programme is in place to achieve SHE goals and comply with regulatory and permit requirements. Demonstrates priority and commitment through personal behaviour and leads by example.
  • Ensures all assets in MST is well maintained with minimal breakdowns and disruptions.
  • Ensures MST is operated to the highest Quality standards. Ensures systems are in place to maintain raw material and finished product quality that meets the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Ensures MST is operated to the highest levels of efficiency. Stocks levels are optimized, accurately accounted, whilst ensuing efficient supply to the internal and external customers.
  • Optimal Ship-to-Shore, inventory management and truck loading operations in MST.
  • Continuous improvement of the operations to reduce demurrage, reduce berthing changes, reduce delivery delays of bulk finished goods, reduce OPEX Job Requirement.
  • Key operational interface with logistics service providers for strategic bulk raw materials working closely with Logistics team.
  • Development of team and individuals. Ensures the team under their control operate to the highest standards delivering objectives that are aligned to the needs to the business.
  • Ensuring all subordinates are playing their roles to execute MST day to day operations with minimum supervision.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Focal point between Project team and MST operation in Turnaround and major CAPEX project.
  • Effectively influences and drive efficiency with Johor port authorities.
  • Effectively works with Johor customs to ensure smooth and accurate product clearance.
  • Effectively works with Safety and Environmental bodies like DOSH and DOE to ensure MST is always operating at the top level of occupational and environmental safety.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Degree in Engineering with 10 years of working experience in Chemical, Oil & Gas or LPG facility.
  • Experienced as Terminal Manager and Loading master.
  • Experience in supervise operations and maintenance teams
