Brew Crew Opportunity

We are seeking friendly, curious, and passionate a Café Manager to help deliver a world-class coffee and tea experience. The manager is responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf café to which he/she is assigned. The manager will supervise the café crews with the goal of providing customers with excellent quality products and superior customers service to generate sales and a positive environment within the café. The manager will represent The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in a professional manner and will fulfill any other duties assigned by the District Manager / Operations Manager / Corporate Office.

As a manager of our Malaysia Brew Crew, you will have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, while growing others around you.

You will enter our famous ‘Barista Academy’ from your very first day and develop expertise in the craft of coffee and tea, gaining valuable career skills — Your development is our priority.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as Assistant Café Manager, you will:

· Manage, coach, and develop our amazing Brew Crew, supervising Baristas on their #PurplePathway.

· Guide our Brew Crew on providing exceptional customer service on our customer coffee, tea and food experience.

· Be a World Class Barista (& Tearista!) serving our amazing customers with the finest specialty coffee & tea.

· Manage your café (sometimes called outlet!) responsibly and profitably!

· Responsible for a full range of products from our famous beverages to delicious food and beautiful merchandise.

· Create meaningful moments - Share your knowledge, our heritage, and our sustainability practices with our Brew Crew and customers.

· Plans, monitors, and manages all financial matters honestly, efficiently, and accurately.

· Care and manage the safety & health of our Brew Crew and customers.

· Lead and take pride in the appearance of your café, maintaining a clean and organized environment, in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Your Ingredients

Our Brew Crew is fueled by curiosity. We embrace new ideas and experiences in the pursuit of bettering ourselves, our organization, and the customers we serve.

· A minimum of 2 years Café Management experience (or similar Food & Beverage outlet management).

· Background as a Barista is preferred, however not required, as training will be provided in our Barista Academy.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

· Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Previous Microsoft office (MS) experience preferred.

· Strong customer service orientation.

· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

· Outgoing

· Responsible, reliable, independent and has a sense of urgency
