Finance Executive (AR)

Job Description :

• Responsible for monitoring the full Account Receivable (AR) cycle from retail collection to account posting and monthly closing to ensure that timelines and quality are met.
• Manages daily activities for Accounts Receivables.
• Ensure all open/overdue items are being attended to and resolved in a timely manner.
• Carry out collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve collection discrepancies and perform reconciliations.
• Review AR aging to ensure compliance
• Assist with month-end closing by prepare periodical / ad-hoc reports and presentations
• Understand backup process and backup each other when needed
• Review existing accounting processes and operation workflows and ensure processes are continuously improved to ensure its effectiveness.
• Support new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer, conduct training, sharing of resource, knowledge and experience.
• Handle refund request from customer and communicate to the relevant team once done.
• Check status of collection during weekend and public holidays and response on timely manner to operation team.
• Project driver for any new project launch by marketing and coordinate with the relevant team to secure a smooth process flow.
• Investigating and resolving any issue or enquiries from operation team.
• Conduct training to the operation staff on quarterly basis to ensure retail staffs are follow SOP and company policies.
• Ad hoc task as assigned by Finance Manager.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the retail field is required for this position.
• Willing to work long hours during weekend and public holidays when required
• Independent and results oriented.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
