- Ensure timely submission of bids, adhering to deadlines and required formats.
- Liaise with clients or procurement teams to clarify any queries related to the tender process.
- Monitor and track the progress of submitted tenders and follow up on any outstanding information or clarifications required.
- Assist in the negotiation process once a bid is shortlisted or awarded, ensuring all terms and conditions are favorable for the company.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the execution of contracts post-award.
- Conduct market research to understand competitor offerings, pricing, and industry trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in procurement teams, government entities, and other decision-makers.
- Attend industry events, tender briefing sessions, and networking opportunities to stay updated and to promote the company’s capabilities.
- Maintain detailed records of all tender submissions, including outcomes, feedback, and post-bid analysis.
- Provide regular reports to management on tender success rates, pipeline status, and upcoming opportunities.
- Ensure that all tender submissions comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry-specific requirements.
- Identify potential risks associated with tendering and develop mitigation strategies to minimize them.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in tender management, bid preparation, or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Experience in managing the full lifecycle of tender submissions and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of public and private sector procurement processes and tender platforms.
