Job Title: Junior Test Analyst

Contract: 6 months (Renewable to 1-year contract based on performance)

Job Description

The Junior Test Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and ensuring successful product rollouts into production. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and UAT professionals to deliver high-quality application testing strategies and results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute initiatives related to the UAT process and product deployment into production.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop test plans, test cases, and scripts that align with business and functional requirements.
  • Perform a variety of tests and analyses to validate that systems meet specified standards and user requirements.
  • Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions for resolution.
  • Retest after fixes to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
  • Document and evaluate test results for future replication and analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of how testing integrates with IT/vendor processes to achieve objectives.
  • Resolve issues by applying technical knowledge and guided precedents.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and diplomatically to key stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain test data across various environments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate SpecificationsExperience and Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or test management.
  • Preferably has knowledge of Transaction Banking and cash management.
  • Hands-on experience in the banking industry and project management is a plus.
  • Proven track record in managing and executing UAT for BAU patches, enhancements, and projects.
