IT Manager / Asst IT Manager

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, software and networks.

Develop and implement policies related to network security, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and IT infrastructure.

Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources.

Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance.

Establish, measure and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap.

Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company.

Manage development projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems.

Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software and network components.

Resolve IT support requests from users and update their service requests.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in IT, computer science or a related field.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT management.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with network administration.

Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems especially hospitality industry.

Experience managing on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN) and network-attached storage (NAS) devices.

Familiarity with software platforms including Microsoft 365 (such as Power BI) and Azure Cloud.

Prefers single and able to travel.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
