Internship - Computer Science/Cybersecurity/Information Tech

Security Monitoring:Assist in monitoring security alerts and events from various security tools and systems,including SIEM(Security Information and Event Management)systems. Incident Response: Help in investigating and responding to security incidents, following established protocols and procedures. Log Analysis:Analyse logs from network devices,servers,and other systems to identify potential security threats. Threat Intelligence: Assist in gathering and analysing threat intelligence to identify potential risks to the organization. Documentation:Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents,actions taken, and outcomes. Reporting: Prepare reports on security incidents, findings, and trends for review by senior analysts and management. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Knowledge:Basic understandingof cybersecurityprinciples, networkprotocols, and common security threats. Technical Skills (best to have): Familiarity withsecurity toolssuchasSIEM,firewalls,IDS/IPS,antivirus software,etc. Basic knowledgeofoperating systems (Windows,Linux,etc.)andnetwork protocols.
